ARPROVAL OF CLAIMS (Cont'd <br />URBAN gEDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT CAPITAL FUND <br />Rieth -Riley Construction Co., Inc. <br />Total <br />GRAND TOTAL <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />a. HUD letter, dated July 3, 1969: Public <br />Offeri g No. 1, in the Industrial Expansion Project, <br />R -56, is approved by HUD, authorizing the sale of <br />approximately 12.7 acres to be sold for light indus- <br />trial or commercial use, located South of the Cummin's <br />Engine Company. This land will be advertised and a <br />date s t for the sale of land. <br />b. HUD letter, dated July 2, 1969: Demolition <br />Contract No. 5, in the LaSalle Park Urban Renewal <br />Project, R -57, is approved by HUD, which will complete <br />that phase of our activity in LaSalle Park. Mr. Helmen <br />asked what control we have on the building and also on <br />the holding of the land for future speculation purposes? <br />Mr. Bellinger stated we have controls for use of land, <br />as well as development controls, which are approved by <br />this Co mission and City Council. <br />5. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Demolition Contract No. 5: Approval was re- <br />quested to accept and open bids on the Demolition <br />Contract No. 5, in the LaSalle Park Urban Renewal <br />Project, R -57, on July 30, 1969, at 1:00 P.M., in the <br />Office of the Department of Redevelopment. All the <br />contractors who have asked to be on our mailing list <br />have been notified. On motion by Mr. Helmen, seconded <br />by Mr. Wilhelm, authorization to advertise and open <br />bids on Demolition Contract No. 5 was granted for <br />Wednesday, July 30, 1969, at 1:00 P.M., E.D.T.
