Ms. A n Kolata
Augusl 14, 2012
If results of the FSI completed as part of Task I indicate that the soil and groundwater
contan inant concentration do not exceed residential default closure standard then a NFA letter
will be requested as part of the FSI and the overall project will be deemed complete unless IDEM
indicat s otherwise. IDEM may want additional quarterly monitoring to occur. Tasks 2 -4 will
not be ecessarv.
Task 5 — Project Management
In support of the activities described additional communications (telephone, email, facsimile, and
in-person, either on -site or off -site) between Weaver Boos, City, IDEM personnel, and
subcon ractors will occur to effectively manage the project. A cost estimate for the completion
of this task follows.
SCHEDULE
Task 1 can be completed within 60 days of authorization. Due to the several factors including
the proposed redevelopment of the site, Weaver Boos will expedite the investigation where
possible include immediately scheduling the fieldwork upon authorization. An estimate schedule
to complete the remainder of the tasks outlined (if deemed necessary) is entirely dependent upon
the ext(
Weaves
accord
comple
known,
been cc
For inf(
Tasks 2
high pri
confine
ground)
then a I
complel
of subsurface impacts identified.
COST ESTIMATE
Boos proposes to perform the FSI as outlined in Task I on a time and material basis in
ice with our fee schedule included with this proposal. We estimate the work can be
;d for $ 26,952.00 as summarized below. Since actual site conditions are not presently
i specific cost estimate to complete the remaining tasks will be provided once Task I has
npleted.
.mation purposes, however, Weaver Boos has provided a general cost estimate range for
5 assuming that no emergency response is required to address the release, the site is not a
)rity (to date the site has been classified as low priority), and the contamination is largely
to the site. Also, if the FSI completed as part of Task 1 indicates that the soil and
'ater contaminant concentration do not exceed RISC Residential Default Closure Levels
TA letter will be requested as part of the FSI and the overall project will be deemed
unless IDEM indicates otherwise. Tasks 2 -5 will not be necessary.
