204 Wednesday August 12th, 1908. The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. All members present. Engineer filed assessment roll and final estimate for Grade, Curb & Walk on Baker street from Adams street to Alley west of Birdsell street., under Improvem nt Resolution No..560. Resolved, that n6tices as to the amounts of assessments be published for six' consecutive days in the South Bend Daily Times, commencing on the 14th day of August, 1908, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the amount of such assessments at its office in the City Hall on the 25th day of August, 1908, at 7:15 PM Resolved further, that the entire work under the above contracts be -accepted and approved and the final estimate thereon allowed. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 14th-day of Au ust, 191W. in the South Bend Daily Times, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the acceptance of such work at its office in th the City Hall on the 25th day of August, 1908, at 7:15 P. M. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 565. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location andterminal points as follows: Cement sidewalks on the south side of Portage avenue from Sherman avenue to Allen street. - where not alreMly in. Said improvement shall be known and designated as "THE•,PORTAGE AVENUE CEMENT WALK IMPROVEMENT" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 14th day of August and on the 21st day of August, 1908, in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in'the City Hall on the 1st day of September, 1908, at 7:15 P. M. A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment for such work where the property owner signs waiver required, as according to law. Said improvement shall be known and designated as "THE ROGERS STREET GRADE CURB h WALK IMPROVEMENT" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the Uity Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 14th day of August and on the 21st day of August, 1908, in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on thelst day of September, 1908, at 7:15 P. M. A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment for such work where the property owner signs waiver required, as according to law. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: Brick pavement on the 1st alley west of Lafayette street from Colfax avenue to 1st alley south. Said improvement shall be known and designated as "THE ALLEY WEST OF LAFAYETTE STREET BRICK PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENT" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer filed herewith.
