Wiggins; Labor, Mr. John <br />lenney;-Financial, Mr. Fred J. Helmen; and Mr. Dean J. Wilhelm has <br />I contact with the retail and business fraternity. Rev. Williams very well and he is <br />ig from an area that is going to be touched by the Urban Renewal. <br />°am very soon. Something will have to be done in the Ohio- Keasey <br />as it is deplorable in some places. This would be a link with <br />)eople in the area and we would be bridging a gap with the people <br />ire doing the Urban Renewal, and this is what we are working for. <br />;heets stated Rev. Williams impresses him as being very capable. <br />Mrs. Curtis made the motion that Reverend Willie V. Williams be <br />appointed by the Board of Trustees to the South Bend Redevelopment Com- <br />mission, and Mr. Root seconded the motion for appointment. Reverend <br />Willie V. Williams is unanimously appointed as a Commissioner. <br />Rev. Williams will be sworn in as a Commissioner by City Clerk, <br />Mrs. Kathryn L. Blough, in the Department of Redevelopment, at..9:45 <br />A.M., Thursday, February 6, 1969, which will be prior to the executive <br />session of the next Commission meeting, scheduled for February 6, 1969. <br />IV. ADJOURNMENT <br />As there was no further business to discuss, a•motion for ad- <br />journment was duly made by Mrs. Curtis, seconded by'Mr. Root.
