In our previous meeting, the <br />PROJECT, R -57 <br />Commission had <br />approved soil engineers to evaluate the land for <br />building purposes. <br />The additional cost would be from $2,000 to <br />$2,500 for either <br />of the following two solutions suggested: <br />1) 18 single <br />posts driven in ground with grade beams <br />constructed <br />across the posts in order to house or <br />support <br />iousing structure. <br />2) Construction <br />of a reinforced concrete box which <br />would be <br />ome a floating foundation for the house and <br />no settl <br />ment would occur. <br />b. ChasL W; Cole & Son, Inc., letter dated September <br />30, 1968, Parcel #18 -10, LaSalle Park Urban Renewal <br />Project, R-57: This lot met with Mr. Warren Outlaw's <br />needs for a single family dwelling. This lot was evaluated <br />in order to avoid recurrence of the problem incurred with <br />#17 -19. Per the soil engineer, this lot checked out satis- <br />factorily and no difficulties should be encountered in <br />building by Mr. & Mrs. Outlaw. <br />c.
