The resolution involves 15 <br />which are scattered throughout the project area. <br />e. The Commission approved the execution of 3 option 3 OPTION AGREEMENTS <br />agreements for properties in LaSalle Park, R -57, upon the motion APPROVED FOR SIGNTI- <br />by Rev. Kirk, seconded by Mr. Chenney. The parcels involved are TURE FOR LASALLE <br />identified as 28 -12, 39 -18, and 43 -15. PARK, R -57 <br />f. In response to.a letter from the County Health Depart- <br />ment,.dateJ April 5, 1967, the Commission voted to take <br />immediate teps to execute a contract with the South Bend Exter- <br />minating C mpany for the purpose of rodent control in the <br />LaSalle Pa k Project, R -57, upon the motion by Mr. Chenney, <br />seconded by Rev. Kirk. The contract is effective immediately and <br />extends fo a period of 18 months for the sum of $30.00 a month. <br />In additio , as an interim measure, a man has been employed to <br />pick up tr sh on parcels acquired by the Commission. In the <br />meantime, he staff is finalizing the preparation of the <br />Demolition Contract for the LaSalle Park Project, which will <br />provide more permanent relief of rodent control and trash <br />littered y rds, thereby replacing the interim measures. <br />g. Th Commission at a regular meeting held November 3, <br />1966, apps ved negotiation of the first acquisition appraisal <br />contract f r the Central Core Project, R -66, with North Central <br />Appraisal ompany. In the meantime, the staff has received <br />legal coun el approval for the contract, and Chicago DHUD office <br />has indica ed funds are federally approved for the contract. <br />In order t expedite this contract, the Commission voted to <br />authorize xecution of the contract with North Central <br />Appraisal ompany, which is supported by legal counsel and <br />subject to concurrence by Chicago DHUD office, upon the motion <br />by Mr. Kom ar, seconded by Mr. Chenney. The contract is to be <br />executed i the amount of $39,020. <br />h. Th Commission authorized Mr. Barbe to attend the <br />Indiana Ur an Renewal Association Board of Directors meeting <br />in Indiana olis, on April 13, and 14, 1967, upon the motion by <br />Mr. Chenney, seconded by Rev. Kirk. <br />6. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />a. w <br />Advisory <br />the 1967 <br />from this <br />submitted <br />and appro <br />o kable Program for 1967. The Mayor's Citizens <br />C mmittee met this morning for the purpose of reviewing <br />W rkable Program submission.
