6. PROgRESS REPORTS <br />a. lRelocation Progress Report, LaSal -le Park, R -57. A written RELOCATION REPORT <br />report was <br />handed to the ommissioners by Mr. Barbe. Mr. Scott' <br />LASALLE PARK <br />reported <br />that there was a good response to the newspaper article <br />R -57 <br />written <br />by Mr. Morrison, dated February 19, 1967, alerting the <br />community <br />to the household item needs of LaSalle Park residents <br />who are <br />to move. The people were elated -im receiving these <br />gifts, and <br />letters will be sent-to-the donors. The staff has" <br />storage <br />space available for-additional gifts, and also free <br />pickup service <br />is provided the donors. <br />b. <br />a or's Advisory Committee on Community Improvement.' The <br />MAYOR'S ADVISORY <br />Mayor's <br />ldvisory Committee met the morning of February 28, 1967, <br />COMMITTEE MEETING <br />although <br />the Chairman, Mr. Hammerschmidtj was unable to attend, <br />because <br />f utility failures existing at home that day. The <br />Commtte <br />adopted and recommended'tov the Mayor the Subcommittee's` <br />Report'oi <br />Citizens Housing. , The Report as agree&upow was changed <br />consider <br />bly from the original, -and only one change was made at <br />this mee <br />ing of February 28th, which was just a matter of a <br />couple w <br />rds left out at the beginning of a sentence.` <br />The next <br />regular meeting of the-Redevelopment Commission will be <br />NEXT ~MEETING <br />the Exec <br />tive Session at 3:00 P. M., and the public meeting at <br />3:30 -P. <br />., March 16, 1967, in the 'office of the Redevelopment <br />Departme <br />t. <br />7.
