a. D.A. Dodd Service Department Standards for South Bend Projects: <br />• D.A. Dodd has sufficient capacity to handle plumbing needs of City of South Bend <br />with our current technicians and office support team; however, should more be <br />necessary we have the ability to hire from the local union hall any necessary <br />technicians. <br />• Parts markup will not exceed 10%. <br />• D.A. Dodd will coordinate access to facilities with appropriate City of South Bend <br />representatives as listed in Appendix #2. <br />• There is no additional rate in addition to hourly service rate, i.e. a "truck rate" or <br />equivalent. <br />• All work will be performed in a professional manner according to industry standards. <br />• All work performed by D.A. Dodd under this contract shall conform to all applicable <br />local, state, and federal codes. <br />• D.A. Dodd will be responsible for all applicable permits necessary to perform work. <br />• D.A. Dodd understands that all City of South Bend facilities are smoke -free facilities. <br />Use of tobacco products is not allowed in the facilities. <br />• Each vehicle will have the D.A. Dodd's name, phone number, and plumbing <br />contractor license number clearly marked on each side of the vehicle. Currently, <br />D.A. Dodd maintains a fleet of over 100 vehicles to respond to all service needs. <br />• D.A. Dodd's personnel shall wear an appropriate uniform that identifies the <br />company performing the work. All personnel will wear a name badge or other form <br />of identification with credentials. <br />• Replacements parts will not be proprietary and should be generally available to the <br />plumbing market. <br />• D.A. Dodd shall report on all City of South Bend plumbing work orders on a quarterly <br />basis. The Report will include: <br />o Total Volume and Value of work orders. <br />o Volume and value of work orders broke down if required by City of South <br />Bend department/division. <br />o Volume and value of work orders broke down by type of work (non - <br />emergency vs. emergency). <br />o Average and median time to close a work order. <br />• Each report should be delivered by the 15th of the month following the close of each <br />quarter. <br />• D. A. Dodd shall provide service with in (2) hours of the time of the call. <br />• The provisions of this section shall apply twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days <br />a week. <br />
