Dodd employs approximately 280 people company wide. Seventy-five of our <br />employees are service technicians for a combined 750 years of experience. All our <br />technicians hold an active refrigeration certification and state certified plumbing licenses, in <br />addition to multiple combinations of 40 different industry specialized certifications. We <br />have included a short listing of the most likely service technicians that would respond in this <br />area. <br />Furthermore, all of our employees have a background check and are subject to a <br />drug testing program as a condition of employment. <br />2. Purpose of Proposal Submission <br />D.A. Dodd would like to present a proposal as a qualified offeror for a Plumbing Service <br />Agreement to fulfill plumbing repairs, emergency needs, and small installation needs across <br />the portfolio for the City of South Bend properties and responsibilities as indicated in <br />Appendix #1. <br />3. Length of Contract <br />The final negotiated contract with D.A. Dodd would be effective for (3) years, with a start <br />date of January 1, 2020. <br />4. Necessary Specifications and Qualifications <br />D.A. Dodd as a qualified plumbing service firm would provide Plumbing services as needed <br />throughout the City of South Bend system of responsibilities. These services must include, <br />but are not limited to: <br />• General plumbing repairs <br />• Troubleshooting of plumbing issues <br />• Repairs in numerous recreation centers, venues, and facilities <br />• Troubleshooting and repairs of plumbing systems throughout City of South Bend Park <br />system, i.e. <br />o Restroom troubleshooting and repairs <br />o Splashpads <br />o Irrigation systems <br />
