OLD BUSINESS <br />The Commission gave;formal approval of the Architectural Services ARCHITECTURAL <br />Contract f r LaSalle Park, R -57, between the Redeveloptemnt- Depart -- SERVICES CONTRACT <br />ment and Architect Daniel Snyder, upon the motion by Rev. Kirk, se- APPROVED FOR <br />conded by r. Kompar. The maximum contract amount is $5,000,and the LASALLE PARK, R -57 <br />minimum is $2,500, with a limit of 5 hours work on each structure. <br />5. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. The <br />Commission approved Resolutions 162 and 163, which authorize <br />the filing <br />of HUD Forms 6144, "Request for Concurrence in Acquisition <br />Prices" upon <br />the motion by Mr. Kompar, seconded by Rev. Kirk. Resolution <br />162 is in <br />connection with Parcel 40 -6, and forwards to the Chicago Office <br />the average <br />of 3 appraisals for a 20' strip of vacant land, identified as <br />RESOLUTIONS <br />Parcel 40-6A, <br />which the Redevelopment Department desires to purchase from <br />162 and 163 <br />the owners <br />of Parcel 40 -6. This Parcel 40 -6A is averaged at $290, from <br />FOR LASALLE <br />the three <br />required appraisals. Resolution 163 involves Parcel 22 -25 which <br />PARK, R -57 <br />the Redev <br />lopm at Department is obligated to reappraise because the building <br />has been <br />damaged by fire subsequently to the first submission of HUD Form - <br />6144. Tht <br />average of the three reappraisals is valued at $2,810, which <br />reflects the <br />present worth of the house. The Commissioners suggested that <br />the staff <br />meet with the home - owner's insurance agency and in this way be an <br />influence <br />on a fair settlement. <br />aw 3 - <br />
