COMMUNICATIONS <br />A letter <br />from Mr. Louis, Redevelopment Commission Vice President, <br />COMMISSION VICE <br />to Mr. Wiggins, <br />President of Redevelopment Commission, dated <br />PRESIDENT, JAMES <br />November <br />17, 1966, tenders his resignation as a member of the <br />G. LOUIS RESI3NA- <br />Commissi <br />n because of his newly elected position as Trustee of <br />TION <br />Portage lownship. <br />The Commission unanimously commended Mr. Louis on <br />his fine <br />performance as a Redevelopment Commissioner and reluctantly <br />accepted <br />his resignation, upon the motion by Mr. Kompar, seconded <br />by Mr. K <br />czar. The Commission unanimously proclaimed acceptance <br />to the motion <br />entertained by Mr. Wiggins, and stated by Mr. Kompar, <br />seconded <br />by Mr. Koczan, which commends Mr Louis for his meritorious <br />service in <br />the past. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />The Commission <br />approved the motion by Mr. Koczan, seconded by <br />CERTIFICATE OF <br />Mr. Louis, <br />authorizing the signing of the Certificate'of Completion <br />COMPLETION, HARRIS <br />for Harris <br />Manufacturing Company, Parcel 5, Sample Street Project, <br />MFG. CO., PARCEL <br />R -7, and <br />returning the "good faith" money, upon staff certification <br />5, SAMPLE, R -7 <br />that final <br />inspection indicates that all items have been completed <br />in accordance <br />with the agreement. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. In effect, fourth appraisals will be handled <br />.strictly <br />n an individual basis; not on a blanket basis. Fourth <br />appraisal3 <br />must be justified and recommended by the Redevelopment <br />Commissio <br />, and then must be approved by Chicago DHUD. <br />b. U on staff recommendation, the Commission voted to establish ESTABLISH RENT <br />rent for 3 parcels in LaSalle Park in accordance with policy FOR 8 PARCELS IN <br />procedure, with the motion made by Mr. Louis, seconded by Mr. Kompar. <br />Parcels aid rent listed as follows: 40 -9 - $33.00; 27 -10 — $50.00; <br />30 -10 - $ 5.00; 42 -11 - $40.00; 9 -10 - (1) building at $19.00 and <br />(1) build ng at $40.00; 46 -14 - $45.00; 46 -13 - $50.00; 9 -9 - $50.00. <br />c.
