<br />in New Haven, Connecticut. This program will cover - APPROVAL FOR
<br />Cities, human, renewal and comprehensive city development, WORKSHOP ATTEN-
<br />mportant items. The Commission approved the motion - DANCE, NOV. 19-
<br />, seconded by Mr. Louis, authorizing two staff members, 22, 1966
<br />ners, and legal counsel, Bruce Hammerschmidt, to attend
<br />with the Executive Director attending a 2 -day National C:omn-a- 'Lt -c-e na
<br />ting just prior to the - Workshop. The staff will- contact
<br />for advice on steps this LPA must do to property pay for
<br />is expenses for this meeting.
<br />e. Anot er important yearly meeting conducted by the govern-
<br />ment and the Southwest National Association of Housing and Redevel-
<br />opment Officals is a Rehabilitation Workshop. Such Workshop is being
<br />held on December 5 -6, 1966, in Kansas.City, Missouri. Upon -
<br />recommendati n by the staff, the Commission voted to send three staff
<br />employees - harles Maxwell, Louis,Glass, and either Glenn Barbe or
<br />Jan Chong -with expenses paid 'to the Kansas City Workshop, primarily
<br />because this office has never had the opportunity to attend such a
<br />Workshop. Tie office vehicle will be used to keep down transportation
<br />costs. Fede al approval will be secured since KAnsas City is out of
<br />the Region's district. The motion was presented by Mr. Kompar, seconded
<br />by Mr. Louis
<br />f. Upon the motion by Mr: Louis, seconded by Mr. Koczan, th
<br />Commission voted approval for execution of 6 additional option
<br />agreements for LaSalle Park, R -57, which brings the total-signed
<br />option agreements to 84 to date. Options approved today are for
<br />parcels 43-13, 44 -10, 27 -14, 40 -10, 46 -15 and 9 -16.
