4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />a. Mrs. Brodie, Secretary of LaSalle Park District Council, letter <br />of October 25, 1966, requests copy of 'Original Plan" and "Relocation. <br />Plan" for LaSalle Park. Public records pertaining to any urban renewal <br />project are available at the office, but it would be. too expensive to. <br />reproduce a complete set with details subject.to change. All reports <br />will be made available to the LaSalle Park District Council with some.: <br />reporduction by the Department.o.f especially pertinent data. <br />b. Chicago DHUD letter of October 31., 1966, asks us to re- explain <br />the Commissioners procedure for selection of LaSalle Park acquisition <br />appraisers. An explanation had been submitted to Chicago on June 14, <br />1966, and was accepted as satisfactory by previous DHUD letter. The <br />Commissioners concurred that a reply be sent reminding DHUD the <br />Redevelopment Department selected from a group of 8 or-9 people, among <br />whom-William Morris was given full consideration. <br />5. OLD BUSI ESS <br />a. A proposed maintenance contract for LaSalle Park was.discussed. <br />The staff submitted a draft with the maximum total contract amount of <br />$2,500 for a period of 2 or 3 years.
