By consent of the <br />Commissioners, arrangements are now being made with the ACTION <br />group to make available the vacated church, subject to con- <br />ditions such as (1) ACTION payment of rental approximately <br />$15.31 a month to cover "out of pocket expenses ", (2) ACTION <br />carrying necessary liability insurance, (3) ACTION absorbing <br />all maintenance and utility costs, (4) ACTION vacation of <br />facility for Redevelopment Department demolition at the <br />necessary time. The Executive Director reported that he has - <br />suggested to ACTION to make an interior inspection of the church <br />building befolre an agreement is prepared. <br />C. Mr. Koszegi employs <br />52, and the proposed <br />building plan costs are estimated at <br />$50,.000. <br />b. The Commission voted to <br />accept the pl ns as submitted upon the motion by Mr. Louis, <br />seconded by M% Kompar. The building expansion cost is <br />estimated at 250,000, with 200 - employees. <br />6. OLD BUSINESS <br />Approval ias been received from DHUD Chicago on the sale of DHUD APPROVAL <br />Parcel No. 2 3f the Chapin Street Project, R -29, to the Depart- OF SALE OF <br />meat -of Publi2 Parks. Parcel No. 2 contains 377,972 square PARCELS 2, CHA- <br />feet. for; the 3um of $73,527. PIN, R -29 <br />7. NEW BUSIN SS <br />a.. The staff has been talking to interested contractors to- <br />submit proposals for maintenance work on the acquired houses in <br />the LaSalle Park Project. A great deal of effort has been ex <br />pended trying to secure proposals and -the staff has only been <br />able to get tqo.
