Mr. Wiggins <br />urged the residents to take advantage of coming to our regular <br />Commission eetings, and to air any problems they might have on <br />the local Zan renewal program. <br />Mr. Drake o the Urban League asked if the Redevelopment Department <br />could purchase homes outside the project area. There is a new <br />provision for leasing properties by local public housing authorities. <br />This cannot be done by the Redevelopment Commission and the <br />Redevelopment Department cannot make any relocation payments until <br />an offer haj been given to purchase property in the project area. <br />The next re ular Commission meeting will be held May 19, 1966, at NEXT MEETING <br />10:30 a. m. in the office of the Redevelopment Department. <br />8. <br />On motion <br />made and passed, meeting adjourned at 12 noon.
