The Redevelopment Department has received a check for the <br />10•/ deposit for the purchase of land in the Sample Street-Project, <br />R -7, from Harris Manufacturing Company. The land is 2.2 acres, <br />known as Tract 5, which sells at 15.5 cents per square foot. Harris <br />Manufacturing Company has joined the Redevepment Department_' and <br />Caras to vacate the alley east of Tract 5, This vacation petition <br />has been referred to the Board of Works and'Safety, and it is now <br />in the Area Plan Commission office for comments. This lot represents <br />the most interior land the'Redevelopment Department has to sell in <br />the Sample Street Project, R -7. <br />b. Model Coverall Service, owner of Tract 1(b) has also offered <br />to purchase Tract 1(j). <br />c.
