The rehabilitation leaflets have REHABILITATION <br />been dis ributed, thus making a contact with the LaSalle Park R -57 <br />resident . The leaflets give information on the public hearing <br />schedule for February 14, 1966, and explains that more details <br />are fort coming. Mrs. Curtis had reviewed the leaflets before <br />reproduc ion of leaflets. <br />b. Central Core Project, R -39. The Staff has been contacting R -39, CENTRAL <br />several planning consultants in preparation for award of Planning CORE PROJECT <br />Contract upon the approval of the Survey and Planning Application. <br />MEETING OPENED <br />TO DISCUSSION <br />The question <br />was asked, could the average of the appraisals for <br />CHAPIN STREET <br />the Public <br />Housing Site in Chapin Street Project, R -29, be made <br />PROJECT, R -29 <br />public? <br />It would be better if this were withheld until sale <br />price is <br />agreed upon and concurred in by HUD, <br />Mrs. Allen <br />asked if buyers for the Central Core Project land <br />R -39, CENTRAL <br />could be <br />secured before clearance? The goal is to sell the <br />CORE PROJECT <br />land bef <br />re demolition and before acquisition of properties <br />if possible. <br />The buyer would agree to purchase the land <br />subject to <br />the average of the three required reuse appraisals. <br />The next <br />regular Commission meeting will be held February <br />NEXT MEETING <br />17, 1966, <br />at 10:30 a.m., in the office of the Redevelopment Dept. <br />9. <br />On motion duly made and passed, meeting adjourned at 11430 a. m.
