STUDY <br />Study for LaSalle <br />Park R-57, prepared by Mid - America Appraisal <br />FOR R-57. <br />and Research <br />Corporation, which study supports their market <br />for the land, <br />and does not require Commission approval. <br />c. The <br />Commission approved the motion made,by Mr. Helmen, <br />-TRIP TO <br />seconded by <br />Mr. Kompar, that the Redevelopment Commission <br />BURNS HARBOR, <br />and the Department <br />of Redevelopment be represented on <br />-BY AREA CHAMBER <br />Wednesday, <br />November 10, 1965, in the persons of,Messrs. Wiggins, <br />OF COMMERCE. <br />Louis, and <br />Chong, on a one day trip to Burns Harbor, and <br />Bethelehem <br />Steel Company. Trip is sponsored by-the Area Chamber <br />of,Commerc6. <br />I d. An extension of time was granted to the-Counsel and the RIETH-RILEY' <br />Staff in resolving the Rietha_-Riley Construction Co., Inc. request REQUEST ADDIL <br />for an additional $500 payment for demolition and site clearance- PAYMENT, R-7. <br />work in the Sample Street Project, R-7. <br />e. Bruce Hammerschmidt reported that South Bend Lathe has PARCEL #6, R-7. <br />purchased the Cummins Engine Co. Parcel #6 in the Sample Street <br />Project, but now a land survey discrepancy has been discovered <br />and therefore an adjustment might have to be made on the <br />purchase pr.Lce., <br />I f. Bruce Hammerschmidt also reported that the execution of CLEMANS REALTY <br />a proper affidavit by Clemans Realty, Inc., was now in order so INC., R-7. <br />that the Certificate of Completion by the Redevelopment Commission <br />and the refunding of approximately $10,000 to Clemans Realty, Inc..' <br />might be effected. Upon the motion of Mr. Louis, seconded by <br />Mr. Kompar, the Commission authorized execution of the Certificate <br />of Completi n and the refunding of the deposit upon filing <br />of the affi avit which will evidence no outstanding obligations <br />against Cle ans Realty, Inc. <br />6. PIESTINGIOPEN TO DISCUSSION OF LASALLE PARK I! <br />President Wiggins explained that the earlier session held in LASALLE PARK <br />City Hall was for the purpose of informing the Mayor and the ISSUES, R-57. <br />Common Council of the Part I Application for-R-57, prepared by <br />City Planning Associates, since this report requires Common <br />Council action in the future. <br />Clarificatio <br />of the Part <br />all present, <br />urgency of t <br />a four month <br />plans even w <br />out the Proj <br />a of our action taken in this meeting on the filing <br />I Application in Chicago, was given to Mr. Morris and <br />by President Wiggins.
