With the permission of the Commission, Mr. Morris read a "Statement <br />On LaSalle Park" supported by the N.A.A.C.P. A copy was furnished <br />for the files of the Commission. Also, asked for copies of <br />LaSalle Urban Renewal Plan on non - profit corporation housing <br />construction to be supplied to the LaSalle Park residents. In <br />closing, Mr. Morris passed out a printed speech made by HHFA <br />Administrator Robert Weaver on, "Other Urban Renewal Programs ", <br />and made Announcement of a meeting for November 30, 1965, in <br />South Bend, with URA Intergroup Relations Officer, N.A.A.C.P., <br />Urban Lea ue, Redevelopment Commission, and LaSalle Park District <br />Council representatives, to discuss informally the issues being <br />raised over the Urban Renewal Plan in LaSalle Park. <br />in closin , the Redevelopment Commission stressed its desire to <br />work clos ly with the LaSalle Park District Council, and to <br />consider uggestions of the NA.A.C.P. and the Urban League. <br />The next egular Commission meeting will be held December.2, 1965, <br />10:30 a. i., in the office of the Redevelopment Department. <br />9. <br />On motion <br />duly made and passed, meeting adjourned at 12 noon. <br />, Executive Dir/A5%ztor <br />NEXT <br />MEETING <br />Donald A.
