59 Board -:met in regular hearing at 7445 P.M. Mr. Lambert Absent. Hearing, gi ven on Assessment roll and Final estimate for Brick Pavement on Portage Avenue from Viaduct to lst. alley 14orth of Kinyon Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 113.. No -remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The Board there- fore find'the property assessed in said rolls filed August 14th. 1912 is benefited in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls, and the Board further find that the assessment rolls filed August 14th. 1912 and the Final estimate allowed August 14th. 1912 should be and the same are hereby in all things ratified,conf. rmed and approved. :Hearing given on Assessmeri Roll sand final estimate for Brick Pavement on Walnut Street from Colfax Avenue to LaPorte Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No. 112. In the above matter oral remonstrators appeared but no remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore -find that the property assessed in said rolls filed August 20th. 1912 is benefited in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls, and the Board further find that the assessment rolls filed August 20th. 1912 and the Final Estimate o,llowed August '20th. 1912 should be and the. same are hereby in all things ratifi ed� (confirmed. and approved. I /--'HIearing given on Assess ent Roll and Final Estimate for pipe Sewer on Garst Street, from �Pranklin Street to a point 100ft. W. of Lafayette Street, under Improvement Resolution No . 172. In the above matter no _remonstrators appeared and no remenstrances were filed. the Board therefore find that the property assessed in said rolls filed August 20th. 1912 is benefited in hhe amount bf assessments as shown on said rolls, and the Board fur- ther find that the assessments rolls filed August 20th. 1912. and the final estimate 'allowed August 20th. 1912 should be and the same are hereby in all things ratified,con- firmed and approved. _ `_11earing given on Assessment Roll and final estimate for Pipe Sewer on Harris Street from Division Street to G.T. & W. RY., under Improvement Resolution No. 159. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. the ,Board therefore find that the property assessed in said roll filed August 20th. 1912 3s benefited in the amount of assessments as shown on sald roll, and the Board. further find that the asses,-�mnt roll filed Au ust 20th. 1912 and the Final Estimate allowed 'August 20th. 1914,:,, should- be and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. Street to 1st. alley South., under Improvement Resolution -TTo. 160 In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no. remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in sa_d rolls filed August 20th. 1912 is benefited in the amount of assessments as shown on said roll, and the Board further find that the assessment roll filed August 20th. 1912 and the Final Estimate allowed August 20th. 1 j12 should and the same are hereby in all things ratified, con- Ifirmed and approved. Hearing given on Assessment Roll and Final estimate for Water Connections on -Walnut Street , under Improvement Resolution No. 173. In the above matter remonstrators appeared and the Board after due consideration. decided to referr same to the Water Works office, to be taken up Wednesday 18th. 1912. A.A. -Hearing given on Assessment Rolland final estimate for Pipe Sewer on College Street from Fassnacht Ave. to 2 00. -ft. South of Michigan Avenue,under Improvement Resolution 'do. 135. In the above matter remonstrat©rs appeared but no remonstrance was filed. The Board after due consideration deferred all aetion the same until. Sept ember'1'7th1912 at 7'16:610A:M. `Declaratory Rearing given on Improvement Resolution No. 196 for _Trade, curb and walk on Huron Street from Lineoln Street to Kesciuszko Street, In the above :matter remonstrators appeared. and -a remonestrance, was -filed. The Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvement that the benefits to th property and to the City of South Bend, are equal to the. estimated. cost of said impeeve- and the Board after, due consideration decided to modify Resclutioff` No. 196 to read as t6llewss'- The'�eonstraction of Curb and Walk, End the same are hereby in all things ratifi e confirmed and approved. Be it resolved that notices be published. in the. South Bend Daii.y mimes on the 16th. day of Sept and on the 23rd. day of September,1912 to the effect that thj Board will receiv# bids for said improvement up to 10 A.M. on the 4th.day of October1912.
