<br />1. A meeti g of the:South Bend Redevelopment Commission was.held at the office
<br />of the Commission at Suite 1001, .120_West LaSalle Avenue in the City of South
<br />Bend, India a, on the, 13th day. of "July, 1967, at 4:00,P. M., being a special
<br />meeting of aid Commission and called pursuant to written notice delivered
<br />to all of t e Commissioners in accordance-with the Bylaws of the South Bend
<br />Redevelopme t Commission.:

<br />Since all C mmissioners were present, . business other than was stated on the
<br />Special Mee ing Notice was acted upon. The stated purpose of the meeting was
<br />to act upon an Addendum to the Demolition Contract, and to hear a progress
<br />report of tie Diagnostic Survey, both for the LaSalle Park Project, R -57.
<br />a. Addendum No. 3 to Demolition.Contract, LaSalle Park R -57. ADDENDUM NO. 3
<br />The Commission approved the motion by Mr. Helmen, seconded by- Rev.. Kirk, TO DEMOLITION
<br />that Addendum No. 3, subject to Chicago DHUD approval, be executed CONTRACT, LA-
<br />with Woodruff and Sons for the work to be completed under the first SALLE PARK,
<br />Demolition Contract for the LaSalle Park Project, R -57. The Addendum R -57
<br />route was c nsidered best since the 19 buildings are ready for
<br />demolition and the readvertisi-ng route would be too time consuming.
<br />b. Site Im rovement Bid Advertising, LaSalle Park, R -57. The
<br />Chicago DH D office letter of July 12, 1967 gives approval or the-,
<br />contract d currents for the site improvements in the LaSai1 Par°I`
<br />Project, R-57, therefore, upon the motion by Mr. Chenney, seconded
<br />by Rev. Ki k, the Commission gave staff permission to advertise for
<br />bids on the 21st and 28th of July, with bid opening to be August 15,
<br />1967.
<br />C. Site Improvement Bid Advertisin , Chapin Street, R -29. The
<br />consulting engineer for the Chapin Street Site Improvements has
