c. Industrial Expansion Project, R-56. The staff is <br />patiently awaiting the Chicago office approval of the Loan <br />and Grant Application. Relocation appears to be the <br />stumbling block. A meeting with the project residents has <br />been set for Tuesday, september 12, 1967, 7:30 P. M., at <br />the Macedolnia Baptist Church, to apprise them of the plans <br />and to ans er any questions. <br />d. Downtown Project, R-66. The project will progress <br />more rapidly now that the first acquisition appraisal <br />reports -have been completed. Sometime in November, and in <br />accordance with the schedule, the preliminary urban renewal <br />plan will be ready for review. Yesterday, the staff had <br />a very extensive meeting with Mr. Dave Goss, HUD Acquisi- <br />tion Division, and he indicated that the LPA's acquisition <br />plans are Dff on the right step. of course, as the staff <br />has always indicated, it will be a year to a year and a <br />half befog a acquisition begins. <br />The next r gular meeting of the Redevelopment Commission <br />will be at 10:30 A. M., September 21, 1967, in the office <br />of the Red velopment Department. <br />7. <br />On motion <br />A. M. <br />y made and passed, meeting adjourned at 11:10 <br />t <br />r.
