The othgr two <br />CONCURRENCE, LA- <br />bids were <br />Cleveland Wrecking Company for $88,600, and Wood- <br />SALLE PARK, R -57 <br />ruff and <br />for $88,770. In order to expedite contract <br />execution <br />the Commission approved awarding the Contract <br />to -Dore Wrecking <br />Company, subject to the LPA's legal <br />counsel evaluation <br />and also Chicago HUD office's review <br />and concurrence, <br />upon motion by Mr. Helmen, seconded by Mr. <br />Chenney. <br />The staff noted it was never intended to leave <br />vacant bu <br />ldings standing for any length of time. It was <br />planned t <br />release buildings for demolition at the time <br />of.vacanc <br />to the first- demolition contractor, however <br />the Chica <br />o federal office directed that all subsequent <br />vacant bu <br />ldings must be added to a second demolition <br />contract. <br />f. This parcel was originally <br />scheduled for major rehabilitation, however the owner has <br />died and the heir will not consider rehabilitation. <br />h.
