Keeping <br />in mind the scarcity of rental housing, this is a <br />reasonable accomplishment. <br />c. Industrial Expasion Project, R-56. The INDUSTRIAL EXPAN- <br />meeting held recently with the residents of the SION PROJECT,R- <br />Industrial Expansion Project indicated that the peo- 56 <br />ple are patiently waiting approval of the project, <br />and The Ownins Engine Co. remain very much inter- <br />ested in ecuring cleared land for expansion purposes. <br />d. D wn Project. R-66. The staff has <br />received the first acquisition appraisals for proper- <br />ties within the project boundaries. With this infor- <br />mation, the Urban Renewal Plan can quickly be pre- <br />pared in draft form. An informal presentation to the <br />Common Council is planned for the 29th of September, <br />1967, to bring them up to date. A quick evaluation <br />of the appraisals indicate that the project boundaries <br />will not have to be reduced. The acquisition appraisal <br />reports indicate that the total proposed program is <br />within th financial capabilities of the City. <br />The next egalar meeting of the Redevelopment Com- <br />mission w li be at 10:30 A.
