The Commission's consideration of the three bids
received for construction of the pedestrian overpass to
conriect the park area and the public housing site in the
Chapin Street Project, R -29, will be withheld until the
staff has the opportunity to review the bids, which were
ope ed on Tuesday, December 5, 1967. Mr. Bellinger reported that the contractor for
second demolition contract has erred in accordance
the contract specifications, in that the sewer dis-
iections on approximately 30 demolished structures
performed at the curb line instead of at the pro-
sy line. The contractors, Dore Wrecking Company, has
towledged the error and will make the contract right
:heir expense. In the meantime, the staff will hold
payment until the work is corrected.
