Kirk.1 <br />c. Two <br />rehabilitation grants received Commission <br />TWO REHAB. GRANTS, <br />approval, on <br />motion <br />by Mr. Helmen, seconded by Rev. Kirk, <br />LASALLE PARK, R-57 <br />and are for <br />Parcels <br />36-8 and 44-25 in the LaSalle Park <br />Project, R-57. <br />d. The <br />Commission approved the execution of two op- <br />TWO OPTION AGREE- <br />tion agreements <br />for <br />Parcels 37-1 and 43-3, in the LaSalle <br />MENTS, LASALLE <br />Park Project, <br />R-57, <br />upon motion by Mr. Chenney, seconded by <br />PARK R-57 <br />Mr. Helmen. <br />e. Resolution 215 received Commission approval, and RESOLUTION 215, <br />is a declaratory resolution approving the urban renewal CENTRAL DOWNTOWN <br />plan, and also the relocation plan which includes approxi- PROJECT, R-66 <br />mately 6 basinesses that will require in excess of $25,000 <br />for relocation expenses in connection with the Central <br />Downtown Project, R-66. The federal government will repay <br />two-thirds of the relocation expenditures in excess of this <br />amount, $25,000, and therefore, on motion by Mr. Helmen, <br />seconded by Mr. Chenney the resolution ' is approved along <br />with this olicy to consider each relocation claim individually. <br />7. PROGRESS <br />a. Chapin Street Project, R-29. The overpass construe-CHAPIN STREET <br />Lion has b2gun, and within the next few days the street PROJECT, R-29 <br />work will 2ommence. It is hoped the site improvement work <br />in this pr jest will be completed within three months. <br />b. La:')alle Park Project, R-57. The Amendatory LASALLE PARK <br />Applicatio.-i for Loan and Grant is in Washington now and PROJECT, R-57 <br />approval i3 expected within a week or two. Once the <br />Amendatory is under contract this phase of the project <br />can be completed rapidly.
