After <br />discussion of the award of a contract for acquisition appraisal <br />for Proje t R -57, Mr. Kompar moved and Mr. Koczan seconded a <br />motion that the Redevelopment Commission award a contract to <br />North Central Appraisal Company (John Pence Associates) for <br />(1) the p eparation of acquisition appraisals in Project R -57 <br />at the feE of $35.00 per parcel for each of the approximately <br />171 parcels in the project, (2) the fee of $35.00 to be applied <br />to any additional parcels of a residential nature, (3) the <br />payment to North Central Appraisal Company, 40% of the fee on <br />the basis of the first 50% of the appraisals completed, (4) the <br />payment, including the first 40% payment; to_a total of 90% of <br />the fee when 100% of the originally assigned acquisition appraisals <br />are completed and (5) the negotiation of a fee for each non- <br />residential parcel which might be assigned North Central Appraisal <br />Company. <br />5. BID_PWPOSALS FOR REAL ESTATE R -7 <br />The following were reported with respect to bid proposals and <br />negotiations for land in Project R -7. <br />1. Mr. Foreman of Walt's Delivery Service, now located at <br />2314 South Main, is interested in two to four acres off <br />Kerr Street, should reappraisal of the tract of land <br />reflect a lesser amount than the 23.7 cents per square <br />feet now listed. <br />2.
