P1 <br />South Bend Redevelopment Commission. <br />On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Koczan, the REINVESTMENT <br />Commission unanimously approved the reinvestment of PEA R -7 &29 <br />$300,000. from the Project Expenditures Account Fund R -29 FUNDS <br />in 6 month U.. S. Treasury Bills and the reinvestment of <br />$100,000 from the Project Expenditures Account Fund R -7 <br />in 6 -m nth U. S. Treasury' - Bills. <br />Mr. Scott reported that no families have been moved from RELOCATION <br />the Indiana R -29 area in July. Most of the, people in the REPORT <br />area are unemployed and effort has been made to open up IND. R -29 <br />avenues of relief in order that relocation can be made. <br />Mr. Sucher stated that a Housing Act of 1964, as reported <br />by the Senate Committee, will include a provision that in <br />the ease of low - income families the Federal government will <br />supplement their rent for the first year to the extent of <br />the di ference between the amount they will have to pay for <br />standa d housing and 20% of their .income. <br />On mot on by Mr. Helmen, seconded by Mr. Koczan, the STORAGE <br />Commission unanimously approved the rental charge of CHARGE <br />$10.00 per month for storage on parcel 2 -23, in Project PARCEL 2 -23 <br />Indian R -29, to the property owner.
