Proof of publication is presented <br />and ordered filed. <br />Sealed o fers under the proposal were to be received at the office of <br />the South Bend Redevelopment Department up to 10x30 A.M., Eastern <br />Standard Time, on the 16th day of April, 1964. It now,being after 10:30 <br />A.M. on said date, the following bids were opened and examined; <br />1. Bid rom Helen Deka, dated April 16, 1964, for the purchase of <br />approximately 42,826 square feet for a total purchase price of <br />$20,684.96. Submitted with signed proposal is a bank money order <br />from the St. Joseph Bank & Trust Company of South Bend for the <br />sum qf $2,070.00. <br />2. Bid rom William Paulson, owner of the G. & H. restaurant for a <br />total purchase price of $22,012..56. A bank money order from the <br />St, Joseph Bank & Trust Company of South Bend for $2,500.00 was <br />enclosed. <br />3. Bid rom Cummins Engine Company of Columbus, Indiana, presented by <br />Mr. R. T. Ruff, Cummins Staff Counsel, totaling $25,100.00. A <br />cashier's check from the National Bank & Trust-Company of South <br />Bend for $2,510.00 was enclosed. <br />-3- <br />
