When members are laid off, or <br />discharged, that day shall be considered <br />payday and they are to be paid in full. If <br />a member is required to go to a site other <br />than the Union Hall to pick up a check, <br />they shall receive an additional two (2) <br />hours compensation at the proper <br />straight time rate. <br />(B) Employers may withhold no more <br />than three (3) days wages due to enable <br />them to prepare the payroll. <br />(C) If wages are not paid in full on <br />payday due to any contractor error, <br />including, but not limited to the <br />following: no signature, wrong date, <br />improper time keeping; a corrected <br />check will be made the same day. If <br />corrections are not made on payday the <br />corrected check plus an additional four <br />(4) hours compensation at the proper <br />straight time rate of pay shall be <br />delivered to the Union Hall no later than <br />11:00 a.m. the following business day. <br />If check is not received by 11:00 a.m. <br />members shall be entitled to four (4) <br />hours of compensation at the proper <br />straight time rate of pay for each twenty- <br />four (24) hour waiting period or any <br />portion thereof. <br />(D) If the wages cannot be processed <br />do to insufficient funds the payroll <br />checks will be brought immediately to <br />the Union Hall. A cashier's check <br />including wages, an additional four (4) <br />hours compensation at the proper <br />straight time rate of pay and all fees <br />incurred by the member will be delivered <br />no later than 11:00 a.m. the following <br />day. If delivered after 11:00 refer to <br />previous paragraph. <br />(E) No employee shall be laid off by <br />phone or any other means of <br />communication.
