REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 10, 2019 268 OPENING OF QUOTATIONS — 315 & 319 W. JEFFERSON ELECTRICAL REPAIRS — PROJECT NO. 119-064Q (RWDA TIFF Mr. Gilot advised that this was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed quotations for the above referenced project. The following quotations were opened and read: HERRMAN & GOETZ, INC. 225 S. Lafayette Blvd. South Bend, IN 46601 Quotation was submitted by Larry Cripe Non -Collusion, Non -Discrimination Affidavit Form was completed QUOTATION: $78,662.00 ELITE ELECTRICAL LLC 50654 Teall Road Bristol, IN 46507 Quotation was submitted by Aaron McMann Non -Collusion, Non -Discrimination Affidavit Form was completed QUOTATION: $42,750.00 BRITE ELECTRIC, INC. 51285 Bittersweet Road, Unit I Granger, IN 46530 Quotation was submitted by Steve Zornig Non -Collusion, Non -Discrimination Affidavit Form was completed QUOTATION: $66,400.00 MARTELL ELECTRIC, LLC 4601 Cleveland Rd. South Bend, IN 46628 Quotation was submitted by Jennifer Martell Non -Collusion, Non -Discrimination Affidavit Form was completed QUOTATION: $72,500 Upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Ms. O'Sullivan and carried, the above quotations were referred to Community Investment and Engineering for review and recommendation. AWARD BID AND APPROVE PURCHASE AGREEMENT— SALE OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY —1007 OAK STREET Mr. Andrew Netter, Community Investment, advised the Board that on August 13, 2019, bids were received and opened for the above referenced property. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Netter recommended that the Board award the property to the sole, responsive bidder, Donna Adkins, 410 Sherman Avenue, South Bend, IN 46616 in the amount of $1,375, plus $49.30 for advertisement fee and $41.00 for the transfer, recording and county sales disclosure form fees for a total of $1,465.30. Also presented at this time was the Purchase Agreement for this property. Therefore, Ms. Maradik made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above and the Purchase Agreement be approved. Ms. O'Sullivan seconded the motion, which carried. APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO REJECT BIDS — DREWRY'S BREWERY CLEANUP — PROJECT NO. 119-031A In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Kyle Silveus, Engineering, requested permission to reject all bids for the above referenced project due to exceeding the project budget. Therefore, upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Ms. O'Sullivan and carried, the request to reject bids was approved.
