IV. kOGRESS REPORT (Continued <br />On motion made by Mr. Koczan, seconded by Mr. Williams RELOCATION <br />and unanimously carried, the Commission approved the OFFICE <br />closi g of the Relocation Office, 846 Chapin Street, on CLOSING <br />Janua y 31, 1962, inasmuch as the continuance of the <br />officq is no longer justified by the small workload. <br />The C mmission wished to commend,Mr. Edward Bielicki, <br />Reloc tion Supervisor, for the excellent work he has <br />done. <br />Mr. Brown reported that the Citizen's Advisory Committee PUBLIC <br />and the Urban League would ask speakers from the South RELATIONS <br />Bend Housing Authority and Redevelopment Department to RE <br />tell the general community about the status of the pro- REDEVELOP- - <br />jeets that they are contemplating. MENT <br />PROJECTS <br />Mrs. Curtis suggested the information that a 100/ Reloca- <br />tion survey was performed for the Chapin Street Project <br />and t at it has been ascertained that the people can be <br />relocated be publicized as much as possible. <br />V. RESOLUTION NO 54A APPROVING URBAN RENEWAL PLAN FOR THE <br />CHAPIN STREET PROJECT INDIANA R -29 AS AMENDED BY THE SOUTH <br />BFND CITY.PLAN COMMISSION <br />On motion made by Mr. Williams, seconded by Mr. Koczan and unani- <br />mously carried, the Commission approved a resolution approving <br />the Urban Renewal Plan for the Chapin Street Project Indiana R -29, <br />as amended by the South Bend City Plan Commission.
