V. <br />REPORT - Continued <br />The Commission <br />was advised <br />that their attendance was <br />PLAN <br />requested <br />at a <br />meeting of <br />the City Plan Commission Tues- <br />COMMISSION <br />day, November <br />20, at 3:30 <br />p.m. This meeting was to cover <br />MEETING <br />street <br />and alley vacation <br />in the Sample Street Indiana R -7 <br />area. <br />The Co <br />ission <br />recommended <br />to Mr. Sucher that all build- <br />INTERSTATE <br />ings r <br />ady for <br />demolition <br />should be turned over to <br />DEMOLITION <br />Mr. Michael <br />B. <br />Lynch, Interstate <br />Demolition Corporation. <br />CORPORATION <br />The Commission, upon motion made by Mr. Helmen, seconded AIP-WGLC <br />by Mr. Place and unanimously carried, approved a trip <br />by Mr. Howard Bellinger, Assistant Director, to Chicago <br />December 6th and 7th to attend a conference of the Western <br />Great Lakes Chapter of the American :Institute of Planners. <br />The Commission, upon motion made by Mr., Helmen, seconded RENT <br />by Mr. Place and unanimously carried, approved a rent REDUCTION <br />reduction of Parcel 12 -60 from $170 to $100 inasmuch as PARCEL <br />a portion of the building which has previously been sublet 12 -60 <br />is now condemned. <br />Mr. Bi licki was advised by the Commission that he should SBA LOANS <br />be informed as to what help Small Business Administration <br />can give to small businesses, which have sustained economic <br />injury by being physically displaced by the urban renewal <br />program, in the fcr m of loans, and it was suggested that <br />he go to the Chicago office of the Small Business Adminis- <br />tratiop to get this information. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. Place, seconded by Mr. Koczan and HAINES & <br />unanimously carried, the Commission approved a change - HAINES <br />order in the site improvement work for Haines & Haines <br />calling for the installation of a 4" inserting valve in <br />the 4" water main at Dunham St. east of Chapin St. to <br />replac an inoperative valve.
