Ix. <br />PROGRESS REPORT <br />Upon motion made by Mr. Helmen, seconded by Mr. Williams CHANGE IN <br />and unanimously carried, the Commission authorized John APPRAISAL <br />G. Pence, Realtor, to make a change in the appraisal of IND. R -29 <br />Chapin Street Project Ind. R -29 to show the entire area <br />to be used for residential and park purposes. The cost <br />of this change is not to exceed $500. <br />The question <br />of hiring an expert on land disposition <br />SAMPLE ST. <br />for the <br />Sample Street Area was discussed. Mr. Helmen <br />LAND <br />stated <br />he felt Mr. Hartwig of the Committee of 100 was <br />DISPOSITION <br />such <br />an expert and the Commission suggested that <br />Mr. TAilliams, <br />Chairman of the Land Disposition Committee, <br />together <br />with Mr. Sucher, contact Mr. Hartwig between <br />now and <br />the next Commissioners' meeting to see if some <br />arrangement <br />might be made with the Committee of 100. <br />Mr. Bielicki <br />reported that the following rentals were <br />UNCOLLECT- <br />due from <br />the persons listed belowi <br />IBLE BACK <br />RENT <br />Fannie <br />Atkins: Parcel ##2 -2. Paid $54.00 relocation <br />clai <br />towards rent. $31.00 still due. Receives Aid <br />to De <br />endent Children. Delinquent amount is too small <br />to be <br />economically feasible to attempt to collect it. <br />Jimmy Boyd: Parcel ##8 -1. Paid $45.00 relocation pay- <br />ment towards rent. $64.34 still due. Receives assist- <br />ance from Portage Township Trustee. No economic resour- <br />ces for collection. <br />011ie Bryant: Parcel #1-3. Paid $81.00 relocation pay- <br />ment owards rent. $24.84 still due. Unemployed and. <br />amoun too small to be economically feasible to collect <br />it. <br />Fred arris: Parcel ##3 -8. Paid $54.00 relocation pay- <br />ment owards rent. $22.68 still due.
