Louis­promised,Mrs_ Curtis he would have-her <br />what ver assistance he possibly•cdn to further the Committee <br />with its work. <br />Mr. Sucher advised the Commission that he has received <br />appr ximately.. four =or five - applications for the. }ob.of - <br />Assistant Executive Director, and that one of the <br />applicants, Mr. Charles Thomas,Munson;: -.of Milwaukee,-,-, <br />Wisconsin, will be available for an interview by the <br />Personnel Committee at 2 :00 p.m. today. Mr. Williams <br />and Mr. Place stated they would be able to be on hand <br />for the interview.._ <br />Mr. Sucher reported that some property owners who are <br />dissatisfied with the prices -- offered by the Urban <br />Redevelopment Department would consider moving their <br />houses at no cost to =- them. The Commission granted <br />authorization to Mr. Sucher to contact HHFA, Chicago, <br />regarding the moving of such homes from their present <br />sites, provided they are not substandard. <br />Interview <br />of -Appli- <br />cant Asst. <br />Exec. Dir. <br />Relocation <br />The Commission executed the Re —Use Appraisal Contracts Re —Use <br />for the Sample Street - Project - Area, Indiana R =7, with Appraisal <br />Mid— erica Appraisal Corp. and Roy Wenzlick and Co. Contracts <br />for the amount of $1600. <br />Mr. B er, LPA Counsel, reported that he had forwarded <br />the c ntract for engineering services submitted by <br />Chas. W. Cole & Son, Engineers and Architects, to the <br />Commi sion to HHFA, Chicago, and they in turn made <br />sugge tions which have been passed on to 16.
