Motion was made by Mr. Williams, seconded by Mr. Helmen, <br />msly approved to purchase a Legal -sized 4-drawer Filing Cabinet: from <br />stems in the amount of $106.75 NET (including lock) . This purchase will <br />the near future by Mr. Sucher. <br />A proposed Agency Membership to NAHRO was also presented at this time by Mr. <br />Sucher. These services would be made available at a $24 yearly rate, which would <br />include copies of the 'JOURNAL OF HOUSING for the Commission members. After <br />a brief discussion, an Agency Membership to NAHRO in the above amount was ap - <br />proved byte Board. <br />2. ADOPTION OF CITY PERSONNEL POLICIES <br />The following personnel policies of the City were adopted by the Board of the South <br />Bend Redevelopment Commission, upon motion made by Mr. Williams, seconded <br />by Mr. Koc an, and unanimously carried. <br />OFFICERS & EMPLOYEES - SICK LEAVE- <br />Each officer and employee of the City and of each department thereof <br />shall be entitled to an annual sick leave of fifteen days, which shall be <br />cumulative to thirty days; provided, however, that any occupational <br />disease, or any injury or illness, arising out of and in the course of <br />employment, or in the performance of duty, shall not be construed to <br />come within the provisions of this section, but the same shall be sub- <br />ject to the laws and ordinances now in force or hereafter enacted re- <br />lati g to such contingencies. <br />OFFICERS & EMPLOYEES - ANNUAL LEAVE: <br />All officers and employeers of the City, and of each department, shall <br />bee titled to fifteen days annual vacation. <br />3. PLANINING COMMISSION'S PROGRESS ON FOUR PREREQUISITE <br />REPORT <br />Mr. Huff reported that work was about half completed in relation to the four reports: <br />(1) Major Thoroughfares <br />(2) ong Range Recreation Plan (including Parks, etc.) <br />(3) Future Land Use Plan <br />(4) fapital Improvements Program <br />The Major horoughfares Report is already completed, with work on the Long Range <br />Recreation lan nearing the completion stage.
