Henceforth, individual <br />items tot ing over $100 will first be presented to the Commission for open dis. <br />cussion an opinions before the purchase of same. <br />It was als decided the rent and phone bills (regular monthly overhead expenditures) <br />need not h ve the approval of the Commission in the future. <br />2. <br />Administr tive Assistant <br />The Commissioners accepted the resignation notice of David Heironimusi former <br />Administr Live Assistant, and discussed his replacement. <br />Mr. Sucher brought out the fact that the Urban Renewal Administration Office in <br />Chicago would not recognize the services of an "Administrative Assistant "(in <br />regard to federal 2/3 reimbursement) because they thought our present Redevel- <br />opment St .-If to be sufficient. Thus, if there was to be a replacement for <br />� <br />Mr. Heiro 'mus the salary would be paid 100% from City funds. <br />The alt -orn tive Mr. Sucher presented was to have the Secretary, Marianne Block, <br />handle the duties of Administrative Assistant until such time that the work load <br />would become so great that a full time staff member would be necessitated. <br />Miss Block had done this work previously to the hiring of Mr. Heironimus, and <br />is qualifieo in this line. <br />After a brief discussion of the subject, it was unanimously agreed that Miss Block <br />would car y on. the extra duties of Administrative Assistant temporarily at an <br />increase in salary of $25 per month, and the attorney was directed to find out <br />what the necessary procedure was to pay Miss Block the extra $25 monthly, and <br />whatever i4ecessary, to proceed with same. <br />Mr. Such <br />20% s aml <br />Urban Re <br />not adequ <br />a 100% ei <br />not found <br />ctor <br />reported that in the Relocation & Eligibility Report we had included a <br />survey of the exterior and interior of the project units.
