South B <br />Regular <br />G11 <br />It <br />Redevelopment Commission <br />-ting — August 16, 2012 <br />BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />Economic Development Area <br />continued... <br />approval of Resolution No. 3065 to allow for <br />the possible acquisition of this property. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION No. 3065 <br />Mr. Varner and unanimously carried, the RELATED TO ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY AT 1526 <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 3065 PRAIRIE AVE. <br />related to acquisition of property at 1526 <br />Prairie Ave. <br />Resolution No. 3066 related to acquisition <br />of a vacant lot on S. Scott Street. <br />Mr. Relos noted that this vacant lot at the <br />northeast corner of Indiana and Scott was <br />added to the Airport Economic Development <br />Area's Acquisition List by Resolution <br />No. 2668 on May 21, 2010. It is also on the <br />September 2012 County tax sale list and staff <br />wishes to acquire it through the tax sale. <br />Resolution No. 3066 sets the acquisition <br />value of the property at $1,250, the average <br />of two independent appraisals. Staff requests <br />approval of Resolution No. 3066, to allow for <br />the possible acquisition of this property at the <br />tax sale. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />Mr. Varner and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 3066 <br />related to acquisition of a vacant lot on S. <br />Scott Street. <br />(4) Resolution No. 3062 related to acquisition <br />of property through the St. Joseph County <br />Tax Sale.
