2) It is anticipated that the Engineer will attend two (2) construction meetings during the construction period; 3) Based upon the on -site observations and evaluations of the Contractor's Applications for Payment, assistance to the Client will be provided to determine the amounts due to the Contractor; 4) The Engineer will provide clarification/interpretations of the Contract Documents if such interpretations are necessary for the proper execution or progress of work; 5) The Engineer shall render written recommendations on claims, disputes and other matters in question between the Owner and Contractor relating to the execution or progress of the project as provided by the Contract Documents; 6) Review and approve, or take other appropriate action and forward to the Client for final disposition, the Contractor's submittals such as Shop Drawings, Product Data and Samples with respect to Contract Documents produced by the Engieer; 7) Prepare responses to Request for Information (RFI) provided by the contractor; 8) Prepare Change Orders for the Owner's approval and execution; 9) Provide field reports describing observations, problems and recommended solutions; 10) Provide punch lists based on site observations; 11) Conduct inspections to determine the date or dates of Substantial Completion and the date of Final Completion; 12) Review and approve, or take other appropriate action on, the Contractor's list of items to be completed or corrected. PART 2 — ADDITIONAL SERVICES A2.01 Additional Services Requiring Owner's Written Authorization A. If authorized in writing by Owner, Engineer shall furnish or obtain from others Additional Services of the types listed below. Preparation of applications and supporting documents (in addition to those furnished under Basic Services) for private or governmental grants, loans, or advances in connection with the Project; preparation or review of environmental assessments and impact statements; review and evaluation of the effects on the design requirements for the Project of any such statements and documents prepared by others; and assistance in obtaining approvals of authorities having jurisdiction over the anticipated environmental impact of the Project. 2. Services to make measured drawings of or to investigate existing conditions or facilities, or to verify the accuracy of drawings or other information furnished by Owner or others. Services resulting from significant changes in the scope, extent, or character of the portions of the Project designed or specified by Engineer or its design requirements including, but not limited to, changes in size, complexity, Owner's schedule, character of construction, or method of financing; and revising previously accepted studies, reports, Drawings, Specifications, or Contract Documents when such revisions are required by changes in Laws and Regulations enacted subsequent to the Effective Date or are due to any other causes beyond Engineer's control.
