Martin, Clerk of the Board of Public Works <br />IDEM has collected 9 samples of from the debris and were submitted for laboratory analysis. All <br />nine samples were positive for asbestos. As a result of the asbestos discovery, the following <br />information is to be added/changed to the contract documents: <br />Specifications: <br />Section III, Bidding Requirements: <br />Add: III.B. Le. Each contractor shall submit with their bid, a plan describing <br />how the contractor plans to sample and analyze the asbestos debris. Each <br />contractor must also provide documentation showing the licensed Asbestos <br />Abatement Contractor and licensed Asbestos Abatement inspector that will be <br />involved. <br />Section XII, Prosecution and Progress: <br />Revise: XII.B. I The project will have a completion date of thit4y (30) sixty <br />(60) calendar days for all work.
