<br />WITNESSETH: That the said parties" hereto, in consideration Aoftthe promises

<br />EQUIPMENT AND SERVICE. `
<br />The- said party of the "cond part; f)rther agrees to furnish and erect , at
<br />4 it:s own cost and expense, where- not already erected, first-class iron Lamp Posts
<br />and Boulevard Lanterns, equipped. with the Improved Attachments for the Welsbach
<br />System of Street Lighting, The said party of the second port furtheragrees to
<br />furnish, at its own cost and expense, all i.11umin,at, mantles and material necessary
<br />for properly lightingg extinguishing, cleaning and repairing said lamps and equip-
<br />ment. It is understood and agreed that all posts, lanterns and 'equipme'nt furnished
<br />by the: said Party of the second part shall at all times be and remain the property
<br />of the said -;arty of the 'econd part and may be removed by it at the termination of
<br />this contract. The lights to be furnished by the said patty of the second part shal
<br />shall be those now being furnished and operated by said party of the second part
<br />(20 in number) in what was formerly the Town of River Park, County of St. Joseph
<br />and State of Indiana: said` lights being located as follows: towit:- 1-7th. and

<br />Tee Party -of the second part to furnish name signs for all lamps.
<br />LIGHTING SCT-TEDU"LE, The lamps shall be lighted every night its each month, and shell
<br />burn from dusk to 12 O'clock midnight, and sand party of the first patrshall, if itb
<br />be required that said lamps remain burning a greater number of hours per night, pay
<br />therefor to said party of the second part a sum in additiox to and at the same rate

<br />therefor to be made monthly at the rate of One Dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per Ig Lightper month at the end of the month for which the services have been rendered. It
<br />is agreed and understood however, that raid party of the first part may order an
<br />additional lamp or lamps at any time, and sed d party of the second p*rt will proper
<br />ly place and equip the same within a rEasoxable time after receiving such order, a
<br />and it is further agreed and understood that whenever ten (10) additiibn lamps haw
<br />have been so ordered by -said party of the first part, vhether at one or at different
<br />times- the compensation to said party of the second partkall, from that time on,
<br />during the life of this contract, be at the rs5te of Sixteen ($16.00)Dollars per
<br />year for each Lamp, including those now and hereafter placed; they payment therefore
<br />to be paid in equal monthly installments of One Dollar and thirty-three and one
