Continued. <br />IMP ROV MV1E'Tf RESOLUTION NO. 139 <br />RESOLVED, By the Beard of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana <br />That it is deemed necessary to improve Niles Avenue from Howard Street to Leeper <br />Avenue. By grading the said Niles Avenue from property _line to property line and <br />construction of. cement curb and walks on both. sides of said Avenue in accordance V1 th <br />profile 2det€Ils,drawings and specifications on file in the office of the Department <br />of Board of Public Works of said City; rind. Such improvement is now ordered. <br />Said improvement shall be 1� nown and designated as NILES AVENUE GRADE, CURB <br />AND WALK, IMP ROVE-AENT RESOLUTION# 139 IN THE CITY OF SOUTH sEND,I TDIANA.. <br />Notice of, thi s resolution shall be published ::oncthe° 12t;h` day of: iikarch, <br />1912 and on the 19th. day of Larch 1912 in the South Bend Daily Times. <br />Said Board has fixed the 9th. day of April,l12 as a date upon which re— <br />monstrances may be filed or heard by persons interested or affected by said public <br />improvements and on said .day at 1000''A'.M. said Board will at its said office hear <br />and consider any remonstrators and persons interested or whose property is affected <br />by said public improvement and will decide whether the benefits that will accrue to, <br />the prope rtyzpabutting and adjacent to the proposed improvements and to said City, wil <br />will be equal to, or exceed the estimated cost of the proposed improvements, as estim <br />eted by the City Civil Engineer. A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the contractor in <br />payment of such work where the property owner signs waiver required, as according to <br />law.
