<br />RESOLVED, by the Board, of Public Works of the City of South Pend, Indiana That
<br />i.t is 4esi.red and deemed necessary to make the followinCs described public improVe-
<br />ments in the a,foresa,id. City FLs authorized .by the following. numbered improvement
<br />recolut ion adopted by said Board on the loth. day of January 1912.
<br />Resolved that an improvement be made of 'the kind, rize, location a,nd terminal
<br />points Fs follows :To improve the first alley north of re.i.lroad _Street from Taylor
<br />Street to Scott: Street. By grading and paving the roadway, also grading and, paving
<br />the roadway of intersecting and entering streets and alleys lying within said por-
<br />tion of sf-tid alley north of RailroadStreet, not, included in the roadway to be im-
<br />proved,, w:itli Ashphalt, Bitulithic, Brick or Creosoted. Wooden Block, laid on a, five
<br />(:--) inch portinnd cement gravel. concrete �foundation,�from property line to propery
<br />line, placing the necessary marginal curb, also the construc cioif of the necessary
<br />storm water inlets all as snoval on plan, and. in accordance with the profiles, de-
<br />tail plans and specifications an. fill-nin the office of, the -Department of Public.,
<br />Works of said City. And such iii,,provement is now ordered.

<br />i.mproveraents, as estimated by the City Civil En ineer.

<br />Southern Michigan Ry. from Chapin to Scott Street. By grading and. Paving -.the road
<br />way, also .grading and paving the roadway of intersecting and entering street and
<br />€alleys lying within said portion of sFd d ,;.11ey south of the Lake Shore a;ni
<br />lei chi> a.n Southern Ry. not included in the roadway to be il:uproved, with Asphalt;
<br />Rittlithic, BrIck or Creosoted Wooden Block, laid on a, five (5) inch portland
<br />cement gravel concrete f'ounda,tion, from property line to property line, placing
<br />the necessary ma,ri_;?nal curb, also the construction of the necessary :;torn_! water
<br />inlets, a" 1 ag shown on plans, and in keeordance with the profiles, detail
