.Friday May 26th. 1911 Continued. <br />•IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. g6. <br />✓ RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana that it its desired and deemed necessary to make the following deesertbed <br />public improvements in the aforegaid City as authorized by the following numbered <br />improvement resoluti®n adopted by the Bard on the 26th. day of May 1911. <br />Resolved that ar improvement be made of the kind, size, location and <br />terminal points as follows; That it ig deemed necessary to improve the First Alley <br />West of Main Street from Navarre Street to Bartlett Street. <br />By grading the said ,alley from the property line to the property line <br />to the established. grade. All.ass shown on detail plans, prof les and specifications <br />on . file in the office of the )epartnent of Publie Works of: said City. And such <br />improvement is now ordered. <br />.Said improvements shall be known and designated as GRADIN« IMPROVEMENT <br />OF T E FIRST ALLEY WEST OF MAIN STREET FROM NAVARRE STREET TO BARTLETT STREET. <br />Said Board has fixed the 14th. day of July 1911 as ab date upon which <br />remonstranees may be filed or heard by persona interested or affected by said <br />public improvements and on satiiA day at 7;15 P. M, said Board will at its said iffiee <br />hear and consider any remonstrators aril persona interested or whose property is <br />affected by said public improvement and will decide whether the benefits that will <br />accrue to the property, abutting and adjacent"to the proposed improvements and to <br />said City, will be equal to, or exceed the estimated co-t of the proposed improve — <br />rents, as estimated by the City Civil Engineer. <br />.Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 5th. day of June <br />and on the 12th. day of June 1911 in the South Bend Daily Times. o <br />A.Bond or Bonds to be issued to the contractor in payment of such work <br />where the property owner signs waiver required, as according to law, which said <br />bonds shall bear interest at the rate of six per Bent per annur±, payable as provided <br />by law. <br />Contractors Bond of John A.
