<br />Mr. Jeff Hudak, Central Services, advised the Board that on May 14, 2019, bids were received
<br />and opened for the above referenced vehicle. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Hudak
<br />recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder
<br />Jordan Ford, 609 E. Jefferson Blvd., Mishawaka, IN 46545 in the amount of $28,140 for the
<br />Base Bid plus Dealer Options. Therefore, Ms. Dorau made a motion that the recommendation be
<br />accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Ms. O'Sullivan seconded the motion, which
<br />carried.

<br />Ms. Alicia Czarnecki, Engineering, advised the Board that on May 14, 2019, bids were received
<br />and opened for the above referenced project. After reviewing those bids, Ms. Czarnecki
<br />recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible
<br />bidders:
<br />a) Rieth-Riley Construction Co., Inc., 25200 State Road 23, South Bend, IN
<br />46614; Divisions A1, B1, C1, C2, D1 and Alternate No. 2
<br />(1) Amount: Unit Prices NTE $394,628.50
<br />b) Premium Concrete Services, Inc., 712 Richmond St., Elkhart, IN 46516;

<br />Therefore, Ms. Dorau made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be

<br />Mr. Kyle Silveus, Engineering, advised the Board that on May 23, 2019, bids were received and
<br />opened for the above referenced project. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Silveus recommended
<br />that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder Indiana Earth,
<br />Inc., 10343 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, IN 46561 in the amount of $2,634,385.35. Mr. Silveus
<br />noted there was a corrected math error on Line 99 of the bid proposal that changed the total but
<br />did not affect the bid order. Therefore, Ms. Dorau made a motion that the recommendation be
<br />accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Ms. O'Sullivan seconded the motion, which
<br />carried.

<br />Ms. Alicia Czarnecki, Engineering, advised the Board that on May 14, 2019, quotations were
<br />received and opened for the above referenced project. After reviewing those quotations, Ms.
<br />Czarnecki recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and
<br />responsible bidder, Ziolkowski Construction, Inc., 4050 Ralph Jones Drive, South Bend, IN
<br />46628, in the amount of $13,726. Therefore, Ms. Dorau made a motion that the recommendation
<br />be accepted and the quotation be awarded as outlined above. Ms. O'Sullivan seconded the
<br />motion, which carried.
<br />AWARD QUOTATION — FOUR WINDS FIELD WATER SOFTENER (NON -REVERTING
<br />COVE FUND)
<br />Mr. Patrick Sherman, Venues, Parks and Arts, advised the Board that on May 14, 2019,
<br />quotations were received and opened for the above referenced equipment. After reviewing those
<br />quotations, Mr. Sherman recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest
<br />responsive and responsible bidder, Culligan Water, 56861 Ferrettie Ct., Mishawaka, IN 46545, in
<br />the amount of $13,325. Therefore, Ms. Dorau made a motion that the recommendation be
<br />accepted and the quotation be awarded as outlined above. Ms. O'Sullivan seconded the motion,
<br />which carried.
