<br />Ms. Maradik advised that this was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed proposals
<br />for the above referenced project. She read the names of the following companies submitting
<br />proposals:

<br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Dorau, seconded by Ms. O'Sullivan and carried, the above
<br />proposals were referred to the Engineering review team for review, tabulation and
<br />recommendation.
<br />AWARD BID — MICHIGAN STREET RECONSTRUCTION — PROJECT NO. 118-075
<br />(RWDA TIF/LIGHT UP SOUTH BEND)
<br />Mr. Roger Nawrot, Engineering, advised the Board that on May 14, 2019, bids were received
<br />and opened for the above referenced project. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Nawrot
<br />recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder
<br />Walsh & Kelly, Inc., 24358 SR 23, South Bend, IN 46614, in the amount not to exceed
<br />$1,912,399 for the Base Bid plus Alternates Al, A2, and B. Therefore, Ms. Dorau made a
<br />motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Ms.
<br />O'Sullivan seconded the motion, which carried.
<br />AWARD BID — ONE (1) OR MORE, 2018 OR NEWER TRUCK MOUNTED AUTOMATIC
<br />POTHOLE PATCHER — SPEC D (STREET DEPT. CAPITAL LEASE
<br />Mr. Jeff Hudak, Central Services, advised the Board that on April 23, 2019, bids were received
<br />and opened for the above referenced equipment. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Hudak
<br />recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder
<br />Hoosier Equipment LLC, 11465 Redwood Rd., Plymouth, IN 46563, in the amount of $201,556.
<br />Therefore, Ms. Dorau made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be
<br />awarded as outlined above. Ms. O'Sullivan seconded the motion, which carried.

<br />Mr. Jeff Hudak, Central Services, advised the Board that on May 14, 2019, bids were received
<br />and opened for the above referenced vehicle. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Hudak
<br />recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder
<br />Jordan Ford, 609 E. Jefferson Blvd., Mishawaka, IN 46545 in the amount of $28,384. Therefore,
