LOUIS BLVD. TO NORTH/SOUTH <br />ALLEY <br />Ms. Maradik indicated that Alice Augustin, 925 N. St. Louis Blvd., South Bend, IN 46617, has <br />submitted a request to vacate the above referenced alley. Ms. Maradik advised the Board is in <br />receipt of favorable recommendations concerning this Vacation Petition from the Area Plan <br />Commission, Police Department, Fire Department and Street Department. Ms. Maradik advised <br />the Board is in receipt of unfavorable recommendations concerning this Vacation Petition from <br />Community Investment and Engineering who both stated the vacation would hinder the growth <br />or orderly development of the unit or neighborhood in which it is located or to which it is <br />contiguous. Therefore, Ms. Dorau made a motion for an unfavorable recommendation of the <br />request for vacation. Ms. O'Sullivan seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CONSENT TO ANNEXATION AND WAIVER OF RIGHT TO REMONSTRATE <br />Ms. Maradik stated that the Board is in receipt of the following Consent to Annexation and <br />Waiver of Right to Remonstrate. The Consent indicates that in consideration for permission to <br />tap into public water/sanitary sewer system of the City, to provide water/sanitary sewer service <br />to the below referenced property, the applicant waives and releases any and all rights to <br />remonstrate against or oppose any pending or future annexations of the property by the City of <br />South Bend: <br />A.
