106 Friday March loth. 1911 Board met in regular sessipn at 10:00 A.M. all menbers present. Bids were opened on the following streets end' referred to the engineer for tablulation . �Erldy Street Sidewalk Improvement Resolution No. 53 ,,General Repair work Improvemment Resolution No 54. ✓ Sancome Avenue Grade, Curb and walk Imp7povement Resolution No.56 �/Calvert Street Grade, Curb and walk improvement resolution No. 57. N Excavators bond of Walter Braumsdorf approved. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 59. ✓ Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend Indiana. That it is desired and deemed necessary, to make the following des cr_ibed public improvements in the City as authorized by the following numbered Improvement Resolution, adopted by said Board on the 10 th.-day of March 1911. Resolved that an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: Beginning at the center of La Salle Avenue and St. Peter Street, thence north along the center line of said St. Peter Street to a point: 100 feet South of the South line of Madison Street with a 12"vetrified pipr pipe sezlv-r, together with the house connection to the curb line. Also beginning at the center of Madison Street and St. Peter Street thence North along the center line of said St. Peter Street to a point 140 feet south of the south line of Cedar Street with a 12" viterfied sewer pipe, toget':per with the house connections to the curb line along the line of said improvement Detail drawings, plans, profiles and specificat ons are can file and may be seen at the office of said Board and all work in the making of said public improvement must be done in accordance therewith. Said improvements shad be known and designated as ST. PETER STREET PIPE SEWER. Notice of thin resolution shall be published on thel8th. day of March and on to 25th. day of March 1911 in the South Bend Daily Times. Said board has fixed the 7th. day of April 1911 a4 a rate upon which remon— strances may be filed or heard by persons interested or affected by said public improvements and on st,id day at 7:15 P.M. said Board will at its said office hear and consider any remonstrrter and person'interested or whose property in affected by said public improvement nd will decide whether the benefits that will accrue to the property, abutting and adjacent to the proposed improvement and to said City, will be equal to or exceed the estimated cost of thep opsedt-,, improvementp, as estimated by the City Civil Engineer." A bend or bonds to be ,issued to the Contractor in payment of such work where the property owner signs waiver required, o.s according to lax, which said bonds shall bear interest at the rate of six per cent per annum, payable as provided by law.
