Same approved by the Board.'and Clerk instructed <br />to send a certified.copy to Commissioners. <br />STATE OF INDIANA ) <br />,CITY OF SOUTH BEND ( SS. <br />BEFORE THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS. <br />• RESOLUTI OR.. <br />Resglved,by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, that: <br />Whereas, on the 30th. day of November, 1921, Samuel M. Robinson <br />and others, filed in <br />the office of the Auditor of St. Joseph ,Countyw in the State of <br />Indietna. `their petition for the improvement of a certain highway, under an Act of <br />the General Assembly <br />of the State of Indiana, commonly known as the County Unit Road <br />Act", the beginning, <br />course and termination of which proposed improvement is as <br />follows: <br />Commencing at a,point on the Division Road where the <br />Portage Road.intersects it at the center of Section 8, <br />in Township 37 North, range 2 East, in said County of <br />St. Joseph; thence running east along said Division <br />Road on the east and west half section lines of Sections ' <br />8.9 and 10, of said township and range, to the center of <br />said section number 109 where it intersects Olive Street, <br />in the City of South Bend, in said County and State; being <br />two miles in length, and which inter.sectton with Olive <br />Street is its eastern terminus. <br />And Whereas, said petition was afterward duly referred to the <br />County surveyor of said county, and said Board of Commissioners and County Surveyor have <br />duly filed their determination and report thereon, with complete plans, speefications <br />and an accurate profile of the said highway to be improved by said Proceedings: <br />And whereas, a pert of said 41ghway proposed to be improved is <br />within the corporate limits of the said City of South Bend, which said part is a <br />portion of West Division Street in said City; <br />Therefore Be It Resolved by the Board of Public Work% of�the <br />City of South,Bend, Indiana that this Board does hereby consent to and approve thesaid <br />proposed improvement of said street and highway, and of said portion of sa d West <br />Division Street in said'City of South Bend, by the Board of Commissioner of St. Joseph <br />County State of Indiana, under said petition, as set forth and described in said <br />proceeainggsp and according to the said plans, specifications and profile now on file <br />in the office of the Auditor of said County; the ggrade within the City is- to conform <br />to the established grade of said Division Street 3n said City. <br />On motion, the foregoing resolution was duly made, passed and <br />d-dopted, this 28th. day Hof Feb.• 1922. <br />L. De Lorenzi of the Visiting Nurses Association <br />met with the Board and and requested that the Board give the•Visiting Nurses Association <br />the privelege of using; all of the house; owned by the City north of the City Hall and <br />in which they now have two rooms. The Board took this matter under advisement for <br />an answer later. ° <br />Tiir. Dale -(Plumber appeared before the Board and requested -permission <br />to tap into sewer,on Keller street and Stocker Place. Board advised Mr. Dile to <br />submit his request in writing and permission would be granted, <br />Property owners appeared in re ard*to petition for street light <br />at Francis Street and Wayne Street. The petition filed last year was referred.to the <br />Bole and Wire inspector for a report , <br />
