803 Attorney T. W. Slick representing Daniel Peters 86. and Daniel Peters Jr. appeared before the Board in regard to the vacation of an alley in Realt & Construction Cogs and. Resglved,by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that: Whereas, on the 30th. day of November, 1921, Samuel M. Robinson and others, filed in the office of the Auditor of St. Joseph ,Countyw in the State of Indietna. `their petition for the improvement of a certain highway, under an Act of the General Assembly of the State of Indiana, commonly known as the County Unit Road Act", the beginning, course and termination of which proposed improvement is as follows: Commencing at a,point on the Division Road where the Portage Road.intersects it at the center of Section 8, in Township 37 North, range 2 East, in said County of St. Joseph; thence running east along said Division Road on the east and west half section lines of Sections ' 8.9 and 10, of said township and range, to the center of said section number 109 where it intersects Olive Street, in the City of South Bend, in said County and State; being two miles in length, and which inter.sectton with Olive Street is its eastern terminus. And Whereas, said petition was afterward duly referred to the County surveyor of said county, and said Board of Commissioners and County Surveyor have duly filed their determination and report thereon, with complete plans, speefications and an accurate profile of the said highway to be improved by said Proceedings: And whereas, a pert of said 41ghway proposed to be improved is within the corporate limits of the said City of South Bend, which said part is a portion of West Division Street in said City; Therefore Be It Resolved by the Board of Public Work% of�the City of South,Bend, Indiana that this Board does hereby consent to and approve thesaid proposed improvement of said street and highway, and of said portion of sa d West Division Street in said'City of South Bend, by the Board of Commissioner of St. Joseph County State of Indiana, under said petition, as set forth and described in said proceeainggsp and according to the said plans, specifications and profile now on file in the office of the Auditor of said County; the ggrade within the City is- to conform to the established grade of said Division Street 3n said City. De Lorenzi of the Visiting Nurses Association met with the Board and and requested that the Board give the•Visiting Nurses Association the privelege of using; all of the house; owned by the City north of the City Hall and in which they now have two rooms. The Board took this matter under advisement for an answer later. ° Tiir. Dale -(Plumber appeared before the Board and requested -permission to tap into sewer,on Keller street and Stocker Place. Board advised Mr. Dile to submit his request in writing and permission would be granted, Property owners appeared in re ard*to petition for street light at Francis Street and Wayne Street. The petition filed last year was referred.to the Bole and Wire inspector for a report ,
