Hardy absent. <br />Mr. John Reynolds appeared before the Board and presented petition <br />for concrete pavement on E. Washington Avenue from Sunnyside Pavement to Jacob Street <br />Board ordered resolution prepared on petition. <br />Petition filed for light. on E. Washington Avenue and Jacob Street. <br />Same referred to T. H. Beaning Pole and Wire Inspector for report. <br />Charles Calvert Secretary of the Indiana & Michigan Electric Company <br />appeared before the Board and filed the following -petition which the Board referred <br />to the City Attorney- for---an--dpinion. <br />February 21st., 1922. <br />Board of Public Works, > <br />South Bend, Indiana. <br />Gentlemen= <br />There is attached hereto Drawing #C•-14�19189 giving the details of a <br />proposed °construction and installation ofa transformer vault for the service of the <br />La Salle Hotel. Beaning <br />thefollowing per mission was granted the Indiana & Michigan Electric Company <br />as per request of February 14th., 1922. to set a line of poles on South Michigan <br />Street from Ewing Avenue to City Limits to carry a 25000 volt, 3 phasd circuit. <br />To the Board of Public Works <br />Feb. 20,1922. <br />I beg to recommend that Indiana & Michigan Elec. Light Co. place this <br />line of poles in the alley west of Michigan Street from Ewing Avenue to Donikoyer <br />Avenue thence east to MYchigan.Street thence south to City Limits, unless -a private <br />right of way be granted in line with the alley west of Michigan Street. <br />Recommended <br />20 day of Feb. 1922. > <br />THOS.
